Yo no te odio.

Little House on Stuart Road: November 2012
http://stuartroadvintage.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 27, 2012. I recently came across a lot of unused vintage Christmas cards at my local thrift store. I broke them up into groups and they have starting selling well in my Etsy store, much to my pleasure and somewhat surprise. Some of them evoke memories of cards from Grandma and Grandpa- especially the ones that contained a crisp fresh ten dollar bill! Here are some of the ones available in my store, plus a few great ones from other Etsy sellers. Remember these "fuzzy" flocked cards?

Little House on Stuart Road: May 2011
http://stuartroadvintage.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 17, 2011. After a sale in my stuart road vintage shop last night,I was going to announce that I had finally reached 100 sales! But after an unprecedented day of activity,I am proud to call it 105! I opened this store in February of 2010,so I could use a different name from my first store (1532vintage.etsy.com) which is now my ephemera and kitschy items store. That one has 169 and seems to be stuck there lately. Please take a look, since I just listed this item the other day:. I left these in ...

http://stuartroadvintage.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 21, 2011. Inside the Little House. I finally took some pictures of the main floor! We had the kitchen redone a couple of years ago and then the living room had to get a makeover too! LR color is "Yarrow". All new cabinets (in '07). A cutout in the wall to the LR. I (well DH approved) decided to go BOLD in this house with colors like Yarow, Bamboo Shoot, and. Little House on Stuart Road: Christmas Past....
http://stuartroadvintage.blogspot.com/2013/12/christmas-past.html
Friday, December 6, 2013. This week I finally decided to go through all the Christmas Ornaments that my late husband and I collected and hung on out tree each year in order to pare down. I decided to keep the beautiful glass ones (mostly animals) that he gave me each year we were together (of course) and pick of few others to give to charity. In the mix were a few from both our childhoods that I thought some of my customers might enjoy, not that I've decided to let them go-. View my complete profile.

Snowflower Street, Home of Dahlila Found Vintage: Secret Stash: Celluloid Vanity Case
http://snowflowerstreet.blogspot.com/2010/11/secret-stash-celluloid-vanity-case.html
Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Secret Stash: Celluloid Vanity Case. It's time to take down another box from the closet, dust it off and share it with you. This case blesses the Top 5 of vintage goods I'd grab if running from a burning building. (Number one is my grandmothers leopard skin pill box hat with matching muff.). So, without further ado, let's draw the velvet curtain. Lights. Camera. Say, "oooooooohhhhhh! THE ALLIGATOR LEATHER CELLULOID VANITY TRAIN CASE. Now, look inside, "voila! I'd like to rese...

Snowflower Street, Home of Dahlila Found Vintage: Family Contraptions: The Toas-Tite Maker
http://snowflowerstreet.blogspot.com/2010/10/family-contraptions-toas-tite-maker.html
Friday, October 15, 2010. Family Contraptions: The Toas-Tite Maker. Thank you John E. Strietelmeier. Toas-Tite "Sandwich Grill" inventor, 1945. Three generations of women in my family have owned Toas-Tite makers. I grew up making the delectable Toasted sandwiches dripping with melted cheese. When it snowed and I had to shovel the entire frozen deck that wrapped half way around our house I made them with tomato soup. I swear it saved my frost bitten little life. Toasty, a bit black, how I like it. I'm let...

Bippity Boppity Glue: November 2010
http://bippityboppityglue.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Follow me on Twitter. Needing a little break from paper, I wanted to play with fabric but in a no-sew kind of fun. I had seen fabric ornaments and wreaths and decided to try my hand at them. My mom wanted something for the door anyway so the gears were in motion. Having a basic idea of how to make them, I surfed the wonderful world of www.youtube.com for fabric wreath making to make sure I would be doing this correctly and off I want for supplies and tons of pretty fabrics. For the do-it- yourselfers.
