Xander loves wearing sunglasses. The only problem is, his head is so wide, that they usually won't stay on his head (kids size is too small, and adults still too big). We finally found a pair laying around that fit! Yet, he said, "Mom, they falling down.". No, they are staying on really well.". No, Mom, they are falling down.". He puts the glasses on me. I shake my head all crazy, and they still don't come off. So we try it on him. He shakes all crazy, and they stay on again. Dad, what are you doing?

For about three weeks, Chauncey has been free-standing a little bit. He is still very wobbly, but it's starting to last a few seconds now. Tonight, though, he took 3 tiny steps. He laughed and got all excited with himself. What a fun little boy! He is at my favorite stage. He laughs all the time. The best part is he knows when he is funny, and intentionally makes us laugh. He is growing up fast.but then all of your kids are! We miss you already but hope you are enjoying your new adventure!

The last couple weeks Isabela has done AWESOME on her Strider bike. Today Brandon took her out on her big girl bike, no training wheels! And SHE TOOK OFF! He held onto the back of her just to get her momentum up to go, but then she rode with no help, did circles, and turns, and even stopped all on her own. Monday, January 14, 2013. Lincoln is notorious for falling and hitting his face. It's that big head of his. it throws him off balance. This fall was especially sad. he hit his eye right on the corner of the coffee table leaving him with a black eye. Left pic is the day of, all swollen and red. Middle pic is a couple days later, when it started to get purple. Right pic is a couple days after that, the worst it looked. He is looking much better now. No more bumps and bruises yet.
