The original site of Fort Harmony is located in Southern Utah about 22 miles south of Cedar City and it is just off the I-15 Interstate Freeway. You take Exit 42 (New Harmony Exit) and head West bound for 1.2 miles on State Road 144. Look for the paved road leading to the library and turn left there. Parking is available on the library road just 50 feet from the fort site. A Google map of the location of Fort Harmony as situated with I-15 and Highway 144. 34 S 2900 E. On State Highway 144.
