A Very Hipster Holiday. Posted on Tuesday January 06, 2015 at 9:22pm in Events. On December 12th, my company held a huge holiday party at Four Corners Brewery. The theme was “A Very Hipster Holiday” so we went dressed as the hippest hipsters we could. I bought some flannel, fake glasses, and a scarf. Jenny just wore what she does every day. The event photographer took a lot of awesome photos, though:. The venue (before everyone showed up). Custom rS lighting next to the photo booth trailer. If you want t...

Th is out there. Posted on Saturday April 04, 2015 at 1:08am in Events. It’s spring and you know what that means… it’s festival season again! I’ve been going to more and more live shows lately. Last weekend I went to Foam Wonderland, and in two more weekends I’m going to Something Wonderful featuring Tiesto at the Cotton Bowl. Foam Wonderland was a huge EDM. I had a lot of fun! Posted on Monday January 19, 2015 at 9:27pm in Events. January 15th marked my first year anniversary of moving to Texas, so I decided to have a little get together. It ended up falling on Thursday, so I got Friday off. I invited a bunch of people I have gotten to know over the last year and we met up at The Green Room in Deep Ellum. I actually had a great turn-out! Several coworkers and friends came to celebrate with me. Here are few pictures we took that night. Alex and I at Anvil. May, June, July.

What ya gotta drew. May, June, July. Posted on Wednesday July 08, 2015 at 10:15pm in Travel. With a capital B these days. Let’s start with my 26th birthday! Speaking of my birthday…. I got my birthday tattoo I’ve been planning for a while now. Been looking forward to this one! This was just the stencil, the tattoo itself wasn’t blue. In progress: photo cred to my sister. I took my sister to Klyde Warren Park, and out to some of my favorite nightlife areas. Mackenzie, me, and Emily at Klyde Warren Park.

Th is out there. Mom and Dad Visit Dallas 2015. Posted on Wednesday May 20, 2015 at 9:26pm in Events. They arrived on Wednesday and stayed until Sunday, so I took Wednesday through Sunday off. It was a fun vacation and a lot of family time. I went and picked them up Wednesday morning and brought them back to my new place to give them a tour. They liked the place about as much as I do (which is a lot). Mostly, they liked the free Starbucks machine in the cafe. We called it a night pretty early because Mom...

Posted on Tuesday May 05, 2015 at 10:55pm in Events. Last year was bowling. This year was field games. Drinking field games. We all got off the party buses at the LOT. We were divided up into colors (our teams) to compete head-to-head in the drinking games. I was on team orange (the best team, obviously). Here are a bunch of photos that the event photographer took. I’m in love with all of these pictures. The games started with Flip Cup. We crushed it. Orange vs. Red. We won. Bax faces the cookie. Some wo...

Brave UX - Approach

Eyetracking visualizations show that users often read Web pages in an F-shaped pattern: two horizontal stripes followed by a vertical stripe. See what we did there? Oh, how we tire of hearing about “the fold.” You should always put the most important content up top, but if your content has hierarchy and value, users will continue to scroll. Good work doesn’t just happen. This is how we make your project easier, better, and more beautiful. Everyone has an idea, but we make it happen. Not so fast, friend.
