And, now, that we have added to our family so many beautiful lives, he has loved them well too. Mike does all of these things with more love and grace than I ever thought possible. For the love of Ava and Gods glory. Welcome to Ava's blog. Ava (5 years old) was admitted to the hospital on Feb 26, 2014 for persistent fevers and a skin infection that wouldn't heal. What was thought to be "just a skin infection" revealed the shocking news that Ava had a rare form of leukemia. More on how it all started here. The purpose of this blog is to keep family and friends updated on her progress and communicate ways to help and support the Lee family. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Please check it out and spread the word! Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Ava was discharged from the hospital yesterday after 11 days inpatient for GVHD related complications. Last night was our first night hanging out together as a family since going inpatient. It was sweet indeed. Gwen's smile says it all. Monday, July 20, 2015.

If you are interested in ordering/providing lunch for her on one of these days, you can order from a restaurant that will deliver. As we will not be using any local drivers this week. Thank you!
