Since making the decision to put him down, I've been going out to see Dollar a bit more. And I think he's enjoying the bonus attention, but also likes to make me pull my hair out and make me sad at the same time. I felt so bad telling him that he no longer has to work. My Old Man turns 20 today! Crazy to think that I've had him for 18 years already. So in true birthday fashion, I gave him a bucket full of treats, a good grooming, took tons of photos (almost 200 I think), took V for a ride and gave him his last bath. Enjoy the photos :). Sunday, December 9, 2012. It is Sunday morning and I was suppose to be up early and ready, but I slept through my alarms. Thank goodness for Leo! Got up and got ready quick to make it to airport in time for flight. I am ready to go home, but it is still bitter sweet. It is time to go home, and I find I am sad. From the connection to the patients and Operation Smile team to hanging with Janet and the wonderful guides from Uncharted Philippines, it is hard to say goodbye to so many really great people!
