Do I Run For Fun Or Is It Fun To Run?: November 23 - Oh Crap!

Do I Run For Fun Or Is It Fun To Run? Friday, November 24, 2006. November 23 - Oh Crap! I'm definitely not a happy camper today, a torn hamstring while playing touch has pretty much put paid to my thoughts of doing the Knox Half in December. Was really filthy after I had done it, as we were leading 7-0 and it was late in the game, and then it just popped! I could rant and rave, but that's not going to do me any good, so now it's focus on my recovery and make sure I do everything to avoid a recurrence.

Do I Run For Fun Or Is It Fun To Run? Tuesday, February 05, 2008. FEBRUARY 5 2008 - ANOTHER START! Well I'm not going to get any blogging completed if I keep procrastinating about filling in the 12 months of missed time on here, so in a brief nutshell:. They were both much more important to me than that, however this is neither the time or the place to get into these events. Anyhow, onto my running. Highlights over this time were:. Became a run leader for Start to Finish/Nike. I'm a run leader for the Ru...

Clarkey Chronicles: March 2005

My view of the world and life I live.sometimes skewed by my point of reference.but a view just the same. Or less exciting.its just about my running. Thursday, March 10, 2005. I've just become infected by blog, an increasingly common disease. Symptoms are the unexplained need to share thoughts and experiences with complete strangers, an uncharacteristic honesty, an openess to new and fresh ideas. Note: Also highly contagious. Stay tuned to see how my symptoms progress over time. Posted by Clarkey @ 2:03 PM.

My view of the world and life I live.sometimes skewed by my point of reference.but a view just the same. Or less exciting.its just about my running. Thursday, March 09, 2006. Politicians get voted in by our democratic system. They have campaigned about how much they will do for the people in their electorate. They get on TV, in the papers, on the radio and sprout about how they know what is best, and how they will ‘get the job done’. Posted by Clarkey @ 9:42 AM. 3 runs in 3 days - 26/27/28. Clarkey Chronicles: August 2005

My view of the world and life I live.sometimes skewed by my point of reference.but a view just the same. Or less exciting.its just about my running. Saturday, August 27, 2005. If only I had an open cheque book. As it seems our politicians do. How often do we hear or read about the money being wasted by our politicians at all levels of government? Why does the public feel powerless to do anything about it? Travel, personal perks, 'art', studies, meaningless projects. Allow me to note a few examples:.

Well the new piece of hired equipment has been with us for just over a week now. Running has not been regular except for my Friday mornings, but with the good weather and longer days, I'm hopeful of some more, if I can get 2-3 runs in a week, it will be a good result for the time being. RobynD-Phoenix: Week 16
http://robynd-phoenix.blogspot.com/2007/01/week-16.html
I deserve excellence and do not accept mediocracy. Wednesday, 10 January 2007. Well, this is my first post of the new year. And my first week of training for the Rotorua Marathon (RM) 28 April. I had a wonderful break over christmas with not much happening except eating, walking on the beach with only dipping the toe in the ocean because it was too damned cold and lots of sitting in the sun sheltered from a yuk southerly wind. I do have nice tan mind you. Thursday - walk to the gym, workout and walk home.

My view of the world and life I live.sometimes skewed by my point of reference.but a view just the same. Or less exciting.its just about my running. Tuesday, December 13, 2005. Not stopped, but certainly less attempts to keep up with it…. Busy at work, home and play…. I suppose it’s a good thing to be busy. What if there was a website or similar to record these exposed wasted expenditure? Does one exist already that needs promoting? If I don’t get back here again – have a good Christmas! The long long run and the good legs. 60min it was a good work-out to ensure I got back in even time to meet the group. 3hrs in and the group was thoroughly enjoying the outing and a longer route was proposed. A quick calculation and I realised that my 3hr30min run was going to quickly become 4hrs plus! Posted by Clarkey @ 3:25 PM.

Shane's Running Blog: Aussie, Aussie, Aussie
http://runshanerun.blogspot.com/2006/06/aussie-aussie-aussie.html
Friday, June 23, 2006. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie. The Soceroos made it to the next round today, by drawing 2 all against Croatia. I'm not a big Soccer fan, but it was great to see the fans still celebrating at Federation Square when I turned up for work. The only draw back was when I went for my run at lunch time. Birrarung Marr was a slushy mess after the Soccer fans had left. I managed to avoid most of it without slipping 'a over t', but my Asics didn't fair too well. Posted by Shane @ 9:23 pm.
