For U, the Nations. Wednesday, July 9, 2008. The story of the 1004 cut-outs. Our grand plan of raising funds through customised bookmarks with names in different languages saw our team ad a host of great helpers cut 1004 shapes in 2 days. We cut (in order of difficulty) guitars, flowers, hearts, crosses and fishes! Through these, we've found out that one will need 3 major gifts:. Many thanks goes to Chew Yee, Oi Ying, Edmund and Sarah Ann! After about 7 hours of cutting. Us, hard at work :).
