7-ELEVEN曾經連七年虧損，假設當時我放棄，整個路就都不一樣了……。 現在的7-ELEVEN擁有四千多家分店，甚至在流通次集團也發展很多事業。但開始時連七年虧損，一路下來很坎坷。 一九七七年，我從日本回到台灣加入統一集團，第一個工作就是連鎖店企劃。 當時我只有一個人，沒有實際經驗，只能把在學校的專業與在社會上看的，寫成計劃書，董事會通過就成立公司。 7-ELEVEN開始時連七年虧損，慘淡經營，當時大家連7-ELEVEN是什麼都不知道，還以為是打七折的店。 一九八二年，公司解散被併到統一企業變事業部，我被派到麵包廠學做法國吐司臥薪嘗膽。 但我的目標不變。從小我在家裡的書店與文具店幫忙，對流通業非常迷戀，到日本求學看到7-ELEVEN麻雀雖小、五臟俱全，更決定要在台灣把連鎖店做成功。 當時台灣原本有七十五個連鎖店要結束，我跟老闆商量，讓我重新來過，將七十五個關掉剩三十個，重頭來，開好的店。 當時董事會問我，到底要經營到幾年才賺錢？當時三年不賺就不能做，他們的忍耐程度已經超過極限。 用這種心情看事情，就知道再困難嚴重的挫折也不灰心，一定要往前走。 最後，人一定要有夢想，能否成真...最近有本書Ӎ...

Shh 這是信子“私人”天地噢～. 尋覓野風之處 — 情歸文字砌成的城堡。 Saturday, July 18, 2015. 今年，又開始買書的習慣了。這本書，是大概上一、兩個月的時候看完的。 一開始的時候，一天看個幾頁，原因無他，沒時間。後來，還翻到後尾去看結局，很可惜，還真的看不出故事是怎麼走的。書上的推薦，還真的沒唬人，故事真的讓人猜不到結尾，而且，一定要按部就班，一頁一頁的看下去。故事鋪陳得剛好，不會有讓人覺得沈悶，就像在看這一步漫長電影，卻把人心緊緊地扣著，著迷中無法自己。我一面看，一面想把故事和後面幾頁的故事連結起來，卻不得所以然。於是，每天乖乖地向這本書報到。偶爾，忘了時間，只好草草的準備去上班。哈！ 向朋友提起這本書，沒人說想借來看，覺得挺浪費的。閱讀臉書故事分享說：長得醜，就得多讀書。哈！我告訴自己說，看樣子，我走在正道上。還真的希望可以和友人一起搞個讀書分享計畫。再看吧～.
