First day of school. This is the first day of school for Will and my first day at a new school. I think he will be a hit with the Star Wars t-shirt. This is my last year of preschool. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Too much schoolwork led to a low-key birthday. However, stemming from a guilty conscience, we have been celebrating for the past week whenever we can. I don't think Linley has minded her unique 2nd birthday! Post-birthday party March 2nd! She ate it all. We had dress rehearsal for Linley's 2nd birthday last week. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Cousin Jordan graduated from Pitt and we attended the after-party at his house. Linley pays attention to detail and certainly noticed the areas the vacuum missed! Sunday, May 29, 2011. Once we got home, she was starving (though the nurse told us to give her only liquids for the rest of the day). Once her tummy was full of Goldfish, Kashi cereal bars, and a juice box, she started jumping on her trampoline! I imagine that was contraindicated after surgery, too! He thought she looked too much like a doll to pass up a photo-op, so he told us to get our camera and he started shooting. She took this very seriously and only cracked the faintest smile. Wednesday, April 25, 2007. We are officially declaring that he is walking as of today. He went from taking about 6 steps on his own at one time yesterday to walking from room to room today like it was no big deal. One of his primary goals is to attack the dog. (Sorry Marlin! He also enjoys dumping the water bowl onto the kitchen floor. He can pull cookbooks off of a shelf at a rate of one per second. When he is not exploring the world on foot, he "sprint" crawls for any open door. Sunday, April 1, 2007.

She is 25 pounds and got her first upper respiratory infection. She got to be pumped up with some steroids and got a vaporizer in her room for her 15 month birthday. But the real celebration was that Annie's grandma and grandpa came to visit! Kenny's mom and dad). Then we all traveled to Maui for a little family getaway! Grandpa and Grandma arrived!

We have had a great month of doing stroller strides, hitting the beach, hanging in our plastic pool, and snuggling! I am guessing she weighs close to 20 pounds but no official weigh in this month. She is definitely getting longer as she fills up her bouncy seat. She also got watched twice by our upstairs neighbor this month! Now onto Annie's accomplishments!

One week ago, the redskins game started and we were sitting on the couch chatting with our neighbor. I heard a pop and thought, "um, this might be it! We made our way to the hospital where no one was in a hurry. I guess most first time moms have long labor. Well, I did not. I got hooked up to a monitor and four hours later, Annie arrived!
