OK, it isn’t the Space Shuttle, but it IS pretty amazing! Here in Buellton, we are only 18 miles from Lompoc and not that much farther from Vandenberg Air Force Base. There are several launches each year, some more spectacular than others, but ALL are worth the trip out there! 18 miles isn’t much to a rocket! Location, location, location!
