Sunday, April 15, 2012. Prairie City 1st Doubleheader. We survived our first season racing with the Desert Dingo class 11 team. And we had so much fun that we're back for more crazy races! This weekend's double header at Prairie City SVRA. Started off the 2012 VORRA racing season. VORRA. Sunday, June 24, 2012. A MidSummer Night's Party. Relaxing on the fjord, near sunset. The only weirdos wearing sunglasses at night! One of the girls that we are living with in the shared apartment wanted to host a mid-summer night party. It is traditional in Norway to have a bonfire outside on the night of the solstice. Sunday, August 05, 2012. The Thermal Waters of Budapest, Hungary. A lady working at Széchenyi baths lets us taste the mineral spring waters. Inside the pool rooms at Gellert Baths. We went to one of the Turkish style bath houses the first night for the night swim. It was called Rudas and was originally built in 1550. As it was dark, we didn't get any pictures. Friday, March 29, 2013. Romy's Appendix Ruptures: Day Seven. What a day full of drama. I guess it never ends here at Alta Bates hospital in Berkeley. If you were in disbelief of what happened over the past few days, you will flip out over the last day at the hospital. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Romy's PICC line and Appendix Goes OUT! Over the past few months, Romy has been healing up and the surgeon finally scheduled his surgery to remove his appendix. A while back in late April, the PICC line that Romy had up his arm was taken out, after he no longer needed the antibiotics. That's Romy's PICC line in his arm when it first went in at the hospital.
