Think About It: March 2010
http://reallythink.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Everyday life meets rational thought. Monday, March 29, 2010. Continuing my tradition of blogging on my birthday (or in this case the day after) I will now post a blog about how 31 was and how I hope 32 will be. At least at my current job, I have a pretty big say in what gets on that roadmap. Everything else is pretty much the same. The cat is another year older but who of us isn't? That's five years of patience on my part. No need to get anxious now, even if it is another five years. Links to this post.

Think About It: Why I Am Not in the Real Estate Market
http://reallythink.blogspot.com/2005/03/why-i-am-not-in-real-estate-market.html
Everyday life meets rational thought. Why I Am Not in the Real Estate Market. Wednesday, March 23, 2005. As a young, successful, 20 something male, I should probably be looking into getting a house. However I have decided to sit this one out and not invest in real estate at this time. Why? Look at the numbers. They are crazy. The average household income in california. Is $49,320. The average home price in Los Angeles. Do these numbers seem right to you? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). When is it che...

The Trick: Keep Breathing
http://archier.blogspot.com/2004_01_01_archive.html
The Trick: Keep Breathing. Wednesday, January 21, 2004. It's been a long time since I've written here. Every day it gets a little harder- if you're missing for a few months you HAVE to have been working on something SPECTACULAR, right? The Warchowski brothers gave us MATRIX RELOADED, four years in the making. It was a fine film. Scorcese's GODFATHER III, sixteen years after GODFATHER II, also quite noteworthy. Paraphrases Bobby: he really isn't an anti-Semite, because he's pro-Arab, and Arabs are Semites...

http://archier.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
The Trick: Keep Breathing. Wednesday, June 15, 2005. Just in from Ginger:. Send this warning to everyone on your e-mail list - IT'S URGENT! If someone comes to your front door saying they are conducting a survey for deer ticks and asks you to take your clothes off and dance around to shake off the ticks, DO NOT DO IT! IT IS A SCAM; they only want to see you naked! I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid. Posted by archie @ 10:43 AM. Monday, June 13, 2005. A woman outside the courthose released...

The Trick: Keep Breathing
http://archier.blogspot.com/2004_04_01_archive.html
The Trick: Keep Breathing. Tuesday, April 20, 2004. This is the kind of question you might find on an LSAT admissions test:. Joey has an idea for a story, and can read Mike's handwriting, but can't write or type. Timmy can't write or type. Mike can write and spell, but can't type and can't speak. John can't read Mike's handwriting or spell, but he can hunt and peck on a typewriter. No one can understand Joey except Timmy. How can Joey, Timmy, Mike and John cooperate to publish a book?

The Trick: Keep Breathing
http://archier.blogspot.com/2003_12_01_archive.html
The Trick: Keep Breathing. Tuesday, December 09, 2003. My friend Brendan has always had cats. "Hobbes" and "Oreo" and "Jessica" and others whose names I can't remember. He recently sent me an interesting article about cats. Cats are universally infected with "toxoplasmosis", which is theorized to cause blindness and schizophrenia in humans, but also some more subtle effects:. This sounds like a conspiracy by the international clothing and grooming cartel! Over 50% of the populations of some European coun...

The Trick: Keep Breathing. Monday, November 15, 2004. For anyone who has missed the news, Scott Peterson was found guilty. Scott was having an affair (with a blonde massage therapist). Scott was a pathological liar (telling his mistress he was in Paris for New Years, while he was in Modesto at a vigil for his wife). Scott went fishing near where his wife's body showed up. Scott sold his wife's truck. Scott colored his hair blonde (and blamed an over-chlorinated pool). Posted by archie @ 2:04 PM. Subscrib...

Think About It: Are Athletes Paid Too Much?
http://reallythink.blogspot.com/2004/04/are-athletes-paid-too-much.html
Everyday life meets rational thought. Are Athletes Paid Too Much? Friday, April 23, 2004. I swear this is not a sports all the time blog but I wanted to briefly touch on the subject of if athletes are overpaid. Often you hear that sports athletes are paid way too much to play a child's game. To give you an idea of what I am talking about here are the salaries of the highest paid athletes in each of the major sports. Kevin Garnett - $25,000,000. Alex Rodriguez - $25,000,000. Donovan McNabb - $15,000,000.

Think About It: 34
http://reallythink.blogspot.com/2012/03/34.html
Everyday life meets rational thought. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. I wrote on this blog exactly one year ago today. Because I've kept up a tradition where I make a post on my birthday and reflect back on the past year to see how things have changed. Last year, I lamented how not much had changed in my life from the previous year. Where, sometimes you get exactly what you ask for because this year has been the exact opposite of that.
