the silver bee: May 2009
http://thesilverbee.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 2, 2009. Bubble has a tiny little cut underneath that bandaid but the blood was copious. Squeak insists on goggles in the bath. Sending Bubble and Squeak back to school after their first term holiday was not fun. Two weeks of having them all to myself again, to sleep in, to plan each day in the morning and not be preparing for tomorrow last thing at night was positively luxurious. They, on the other hand, couldn't wait to go back. Labels: steep learning curb. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Old Haberdashery: Return of the Rustic Viking
http://oldhaberdashery.blogspot.com/2014/05/return-of-rustic-viking.html
Tales and musings from The Old Haberdasher herself, the peddler of vintage homewares, textiles and haberdashery, the purveyor of artisan crafts from near and far. Friday, 2 May 2014. Return of the Rustic Viking. I have just come back from Norway. I was hoping to write a blog post about all the folk textiles and art but it was Easter and most of the museums were shut. They like a holiday in Norway. What I found instead was the real inspiration behind it all. The landscape. 3 May 2014 at 09:03. Simple them...

interior divine: scenes from country spaces
http://interiordivine.blogspot.com/2012/06/scenes-from-country-spaces.html
June 15, 2012. Scenes from country spaces. Rooms in 18th century farmhouse in a coastal town in Denmark. I especially love the very simple kitchen. Fireplaces, stoves, warm kitchens and cozy beds with soft linens well-worn. my dream 2nd home! Perfect for relaxing and unwinding! All photos from UK Country Living). I do like both rustic and high-tech kitchens. but for me myself i think i would chose a rustic one. definitely with a few dusty pink details. July 6, 2012 at 8:00 AM. August 23, 2012 at 12:46 PM.

Antique ~ Vintage ~ Garden ~ Gift: November 2009
http://plumtreeantiques.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 25, 2009. Well, it's about that time when the retail stores start reminding us how many days are left until Christmas. Black Friday is upon us and for those that are fortunate enough to still be working in this tough economy, please remember this is the season of giving not just gifts, but of ourselves. Have your children select a toy in good condition they no longer play with and donate it to a children's shelter. Volunteer at a soup kitchen, and carry it out all year long. Andlast b...

http://plumtreeantiques.blogspot.com/2010/11/it-is-very-sad-day-for-me.html
Thursday, November 18, 2010. It is a very sad day for me.I have decided to close the Plum Tree Antiques at the end of the year. Including myself as an owner, The Plum Tree has been in business for nearly 16 years. I appreciate all the support from my great customers and have enjoyed my years as owner. This past year has been a real struggle as I know it has for a lot of you, and this has been a hard decision for me to make, however at this time it feels like the right one. We hope to see you soon! Life i...

With Grace & Judy: August 2012
http://withgraceandjudy.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
With Grace and Judy. The things that inspire us. Amazing B and B. Husband and I decided to get away for a few days before I start on another feature film and will be away for 2 months. I was going to put us in a B and B in Fowey, Cornwall but there was no room as they had sailing events on. I then magically found this place a few miles away for the same price as a cheap b and b! You had to walk over the bridge and babbling brooke to get into the floating house. Bedroom with a walk in closet. To see the B...

The Old Haberdashery: October 2012
http://oldhaberdashery.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Tales and musings from The Old Haberdasher herself, the peddler of vintage homewares, textiles and haberdashery, the purveyor of artisan crafts from near and far. Friday, 26 October 2012. East of India ribbon in the shop. Old shop interior (google images). Or the French 'Haber d'acheter'. To have to buy. Or maybe from the word Hapertas. A medieval Anglo-French word denoting pretty wares or a specific type of fabric of the time. Chinese street vendor (google images). Links to this post. It happened to me ...
