Friday, January 18, 2013. Last night my beloved Abuelito passed away. Although he'd been very ill for some time and his death was not unexpected, his departure still hurts. Although we are relieved that he is no longer in pain, our family still hurts. And although I know he is now in the presence of Jesus, my heart still hurts. For which I will be forever grateful. Today, as I think about my parents traveling to Peru for the funeral on Sunday, I can't help but remember my. Turns out we were both right.

Sunday, May 19, 2013. On Thursday, the girls performed in their very first dance recital. The name of the ballet was "Tutti Frutti" and the girls' class represented Dreamsicles. Jane and Virginia had the best time dressing up and getting to wear a little makeup. They did so well and remembered almost. All of their moves! Celebrating the Quadities of Life. Monday, January 10, 2011. New year, new list of books! Last year I managed to read 24 books! Certainly better than the 19 I read the year before! Still nowhere close to Becky or Michelle, and I assume they both beat me at the Pulitzer race. Also, but that’s okay. The reading is fun no matter what! 1-3 I wish I could burn all copies of this book. 4-6 Had a few things going for it, but definitely not my favorite. 9-10 One of the best, highly recommended.
