I'll try to give you my idiosyncratic take on the Art scene in the Northwest, with what I hope to be a much needed touch of humour and irreverence. As much as I love Art, and I do, I feel it can be a bit aloof, detached or unapproachable, and just plain wanky at times. I hope to be an incredulous guide through this, by turns seemly torrid yet passionless landscape. Run Paint Run Run.

Saturday, 2 June 2012. 2012 and so on. In my last post, dated June 2011, I promised there would be some updates soon. I don't work at the college any more; now I work for a marketing company, mainly Photoshopping a blue sky into pictures of shops. It's not the most glamorous of jobs. I'm also learning the violin at a rate that would embarrass a 4 year old. The new We Face Forward exhibition looks good. I promise you some sort of content on the subject with the next month.
