One bike, two bums. So to break the beast in, we went on what was probably a bit too long of a ride on such a hot day. We hauled the bikes over to Gardner Village (nice to have a Chevy Suburban now! And then rode the Jordan River trail all the way to downtown SLC, had lunch at the City Creek Center, and then rode back.

Friday, March 15, 2013. Emily has competed in the region drama competitions for Riverton High School over the past couple of weeks, and last night found out that she will be going to state! She is participating in her school's one act play, and also in a scene with one other girl. In addition to her qualifying twice for state, she was also awarded Outstanding Supporting Actress for the entire region! So she is the Anne Hathaway of her region at this point. Way to go, Em! Saturday, March 31, 2012. For Lisa's birthday I wanted to take her to Nashville to see Mary Poppins the Broadway musical, but I waited too long to get tickets and they were all sold out. I had heard about a small playhouse about an hour from home though so I looked up their show schedule. The Cumberland County Playhouse was showing the musical All Shook Up! There was no worry about being underdressed as the playhouse is in a barn! It was a silly show and a lot of fun. Of course, the music was awesome!
