Friday, March 5, 2010. Walking Slowly but Surely. Together these four women will challenge themselves physically and mentally to do the forty one mile hike through the Maryland portion of the Appalachian Trail. Although it is really only about 10 miles a day, when you add a thirty something pound backpack to the mix, it may not be as easy as it sounds.
