All About the Smiths: Days like today!
http://shannongsmith.blogspot.com/2008/12/days-like-today.html
All About the Smiths. Tuesday, December 02, 2008. Posted by Shannon Smith. Today was a bad day for me. Cynthia was a very cranky lady all day! She was into everything too. These two things combined made it a long day! On top of that, Josh had to work late tonight. It's a day like today that makes me miss living close to my mom! When we were still living in Wisconsin, I would have spent the evening with my mom after a day like today. That wasn't an option today! All that to say, Mom - I miss you!

All About the Smiths. Cynthia - 15 Months. Monday, December 08, 2008. Posted by Shannon Smith. I thought I would give an update of all the things Cynthia is up to these days. She jabbers all the time, although a lot of it cannot be understood! She is walking, almost running! She is starting to learn to climb on things.I'm not really encouraging this one though! On the down-side, she's into EVERYTHING and I think I tell her no about a million times a day! Here are the words she can say:. 2 Response to "Cy...

Two weekends ago, Newegg had a 72 hour sale. In it was a 1 terabyte external drive.(FANTOM GD1000EU) I wasn't sure if I should get it as I had just cleaned up my other drive (250gb and had about 100gb free). But the price was just too good to pass up at 100$. I got it last week and hooked it up. First thing, format it to ext3. The next part was and is the longest, copying all my data over USB 1.1 to it. So far it has been going on 36 hours straight, but only copied about 112GB. New TV all setup. I am sti...

Last week for our anniversary I made the first meal in our attempt at eating a more balanced meal. Tofu, pasta, vegies. And to top it off, we had a Strawberry Banana Supreme Smoothie. For the Tofu, pasta, vegies (probably a few extra dollars for the smoothies). I am hoping to make at least one meal a week and post my results here. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Weeklong Father Son trip. Basically, here is what I am thinking and where I would take advice. My Dad loves nature, hiking, camping, etc. He of course loves history as well. Really, my Dad loves everything. I was thinking of maybe doing a 5 day backpacking trip. (Yosemite? What ideas do you all have? Doesn't have to be backpacking, or camping at all, nor does it have to involve nature. I am open to any and all ideas. Any ideas for either? Has anyone done anything like this with your Dad or Sons? January ...

All About the Smiths: Christmas 2008
http://shannongsmith.blogspot.com/2009/01/christmas-2008.html
All About the Smiths. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Posted by Shannon Smith. Josh and I had the great opportunity of going to visit his parents in Florida for Christmas this year. The trip was awesome and for me a welcome reprieve from the snow and cold of Illinois! We flew down on Christmas Eve and flew home on New Years Eve. I was slightly worried about how Cynthia would do flying, but she was great! We ended up hanging out at the airport for 5 hours on Christmas Eve and she was an angel the whole time!

All About the Smiths. Our first ER visit. Wednesday, March 04, 2009. Posted by Shannon Smith. We'll the Smith's have officially joined the ranks of childhood injuries. Tonight after church, Cynthia decided to take on the stairs on her own. Unfortunately.she didn't quite make it! Our church has two stairs from one level to the next, next to the stairs is a wheel chair lift. Cynthia fell going down the first step and hit the back of her head on the corner of the lift. Thank the LORD for good friends! Pictu...

All About the Smiths. Thursday, October 14, 2010. Posted by Shannon Smith. Cynthia turned 3 on October 2nd. My little girl is growing up way too fast! I tried to convince her that she needs to stay little forever, but she told me she needs to grow up. Cynthia keep us laughing with the hilarious things she says. She is an extremely friendly and outgoing little girl. She's never met a stranger and declares EVERYONE she meets to be her friend. Posted in Cynthia Esther Rose;. 3 Response to "Update on Cynthia".

Why “( backstage spotlight) ”? A Behind the Scenes Look. Dating and Trying Not to Get Caught Up in the Politics of It All. Posted on February 1, 2013. A lot of things change when you start dating. Basically every relationship you have is affected in one way or another. Your schedule changes. Your emotions change. Everything feels like it’s on fire. It’s politics of who is hanging out with who, how far has a couple “gone,” who is not currently getting paid attention to? Who has let down their parents?
