Saturday, January 27, 2007. Being a huge Ghostbusters fan, I've decided to make my own Ghostbusters Boardgame. I looked up any previous GB games and found only two. TWO? With these two games to fuel the fire, I proceeded to look at other games I may be able to use as a template for gameplay, and more importantly, use pieces from. I found that the room tiles from Betrayal at House on the Hill along with the ghost finder figures from Horrorclix (and various monsters) would be a winning combination. Sunday,...

Sunday, May 27, 2007. Fun with Chris's Blog. Friend Chris takes great photos of his figure collection. Most of the time, they are size comparison shots or groups of teams. Sometimes, the placement of said figures makes for a great little comic- like this one I made from his most recent post. Sorry Chris- I'm lazy today I guess. Posted by Jeff @ 3:59 PM. Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Yep, more board games. Clue: The Card Game. Last Night on Earth. Also on the 'geek- soon to be released- next week even? Is Marvel...

Sunday, February 25, 2007. It seems people still aren't satisfied with the whole wiimote/classic controller situation. That is, having to rest the wiimote at your side while you hold the separate controller. Nyko has your solution, albeit a clunky one retailing (eventually) for $15. Here's the idea:. And here's the real deal:. What a waste. I wouldn't want to spend the time setting this jumbled mess up. I'll keep the wiimote at my side and save the $15 thank you. Photos from IGN.com. My favorite part of ...

Saturday, March 31, 2007. Holy box art Batman! With the success of the two Lego Star Wars video games, Warner Bros. has jumped on the little-brick bandwagon and is going to be releasing a Lego Batman video game (cross platform). Expect the same greatness- with a Batman theme. This game is going to rock. Meantime, I'll have to be content with Spider-man 3, Mario Party 8, and Super Smash Bros. Posted by Jeff @ 7:55 PM. Sunday, March 25, 2007. X-Men out of context. But he also speaks fluent jive:. The story...

If you've read the latest New Avengers (#30) you know Elektra was revealed to be a Skrull. Shocking? You betcha. First time this has happened in the Marvel U? Don't think so. Check out Fantastic Four #357 from way back in '91. Posted by Jeff @ 8:22 AM. Monday, June 25, 2007. I'm a huge Fantastic Four fan. So ...

Sunday, April 29, 2007. As seen in Marvel's What If? What if Aunt May had been bitten by the radioactive spider? Equipped with bread dough with too much yeast in place of web shooters, Spider-May (never is given a name in the story) foils Leap-Frog's bank robbery in view of a faint Peter Parker who's terrified at the sight of her. Dig that beret. As seen in Marvel Team-Up #137. Aunt May and Franklin Richards vs. Galactus. As seen in What If. #34. Posted by Jeff @ 5:07 PM. Saturday, April 21, 2007. I love...

I'm going to be lazy and just post the pictures of my favorite games for the Nintendo. You can make your own commentary- it'll be fun! Posted by Jeff @ 1:32 PM. Video Game Lane: Super Nintendo. Sunday, October 29, 2006. More Justice League Rants. I thought the frogs were bad. I was wrong. The game then becomes a series of trial and error, PITA (pain in the ass) "jumps" from each generator trying to find your way throught the level. I'll be nice and spoil it- blue-green-blue-green, then 5 green again. Other than the frogs and negative zone, I really do like this game. Honest. Posted by Jeff @ 11:55 AM. Sunday, October 22, 2006. Justice League Heroes Rant. Except for the damn frogs. Yeah, tha...

Sunday, September 24, 2006. I hate can openers. I really hate can openers. I don't know what it is exactly, but I just don't like them. It really shouldn't be that difficult to use one metal object to open another metal object. But it is. Most of the time I give up. "To hell with this.I didn't really want any corn anyway! Or other times I fight the can. I squeeze it, crush it, bang it, (after using the can opener) and nearly cut myself from getting the contents out. Why is it so difficult? Because you're...
