Wednesday, 25 February 2009. First day's training complete. It's a good job that we had planned to get out there and train, as it was dull and overcast when I looked out of the window this morning with rain threatening. Val joined Jenny and I for this walk and it was a joy to see her. The three of us, with Bramble in tow, soon fell into a good walking stride and chatted non stop for the six mile walk. Sunday, 15 March 2009. Jenny drove us to her sister Brenda's house for a training walk on Friday. Two of the biggest dogs I have ever seen welcomed us (Newfoundlands), Brenda supplied a welcome cup of coffee and soon we were off.
