There was one small stretch of the beach that was crowded, down where the houses were crammed together only a few feet apart, but mostly it was empty (see here. This strange head is protruding from a turtle's shell, but it looks more like a cross between a snake and dog head. Tuesday, April 21, 2015. There weren't many roses blooming at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, but this one was lovely in the evening light. Shared with 52 Photos Project. Monday, April 13, 2015. There's not a lot of shiny at the railroad museum, mostly just rusting hulks of old train cars and engines, but there was one car with a very shiny coat of paint and it gave a nice reflection of the station building.
