The Fox and Hounds has a beautiful garden at the rear of the pub which makes a perfect place for camping. There are beautiful views towards rolling Dorset Hills and the area is extremely peaceful. You are literally just a few strides away from the pub which is open for dinner every evening and lunch Tuesday to Sunday. We are all very excited about our Allotment Project which is now well under way. The Fox and Hounds had a lot of wasted space at the back of the pub and so we decided to loan part of it to the local community who are working hard to turn this into allotment patches. Everyone involved is working extremely hard and as spring arrives we are seeing all kinds of fruit and vegetables being planted. The Fox and Hounds was delighted to welcome Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall into our kitchen to prepare the people of Cattistock with a wonderful 3 course menu. Diners came expecting some weird and wonderful meat or fish dish but were suprised to find the menu 100% vegetarian.
