Monday, February 25, 2013. Q has a habit of repeating (or at least trying to repeat) absolutely everything that her big sister says. I really have to credit Y with much of Q's vast vocabulary. I was beyond happy as it was her first time saying even a variation of I love you. She kept walking around the room aimlessly saying it over and over again until she became distracted by something else. Up until that point I had already had a decent day but that one little phrase turned it into an awesome day!

Friday, March 28, 2014. I arrived in North Carolina on Thursday, the viewing was scheduled for Friday afternoon and the funeral on Saturday. I found myself very emotional at just the thought of seeing Grandma laying there in a casket. It started at the middle school and within 24 hours was in all of the elementary schools. They are all over the schools in 4 surrounding counties! Such a simple, and inexpensive little invention that someone is making millions off of. I've only found them at Hallmark! And some of them glow in the dark.
