Friday, June 13, 2014. Almost two years ago I turned the bottom of this hutch into a bookcase. Yes, sadly it has taken me that long to refinish the bottom. Here are the before pictures. I painted the hutch a pale green color, and glazed it with my favorite Martha Stewart black coffee glaze. The top I stained a darker brown. And wha-la! Here is the finished product. Notice that it doesn't have a bottom as the top of the buffet would have been the bottom. It also had three doors but I neglected to take a picture before I took off the other two. Sunday, June 9, 2013. I took a break from all of the upholstering to paint my front door last weekend. I wanted to go ahead and get it done before it got too hot and humid. Here are two before shots. You can see it's just a solid oak door with two side lights. I gave it a light sanding and then primed it with a white enamel primer (make sure you get outdoor paint! And here is the final result. Fox Hollow Dairy Goats
We got into goats in 2008, starting with Nigerian Dwarfs. We started showing them at our county fair. We being me and my sons, Zachary and Collin. I (Molly). Started milking goats at a local dairy and fell in love with Nubians. I decided it was more practical to have full size dairy goats. I got started into Nubians, then added my Oberhasli and a few Lamanchas. We would love to be a licensed dairy and have taken a few steps. Towards our goal. We hope that dream comes true some day soon.
