FPIES Baby: LIfe with FPIES gets easier.
http://fpiesbaby.blogspot.com/2010/08/life-with-fpies-gets-easier.html
One family's journey of diagnosing and living with Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome. Saturday, August 7, 2010. LIfe with FPIES gets easier. Kyle is now 18 months old, and we are in a whole new world with him lately. Sometimes I think to myself, did I make it all up? Was he really THAT sick? But, luckily, I have this blog to remind me. However, I don't know how much I'll be blogging these days about FPIES anyway. Our lives have changed a lot with Kyle. I know though that there are more severe c...
FPIES Baby: May 2012
http://fpiesbaby.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
One family's journey of diagnosing and living with Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Letting Go of Breastfeeding. I wrote a blog post over here. About my decision to finally give up breastfeeding. My baby is so super happy, and after many tears, so am I. Our next step will be trialing solids. But, for now, I'm enjoying a happy, healthy baby who is catching up on his sleep and his weight. :). Labels: Breastfeeding with allergies. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My oldest ha...
FPIES Baby: May 2010
http://fpiesbaby.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
One family's journey of diagnosing and living with Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome. Monday, May 24, 2010. Kyle seems to be doing better today. Although, he is still not really eating anything. Poor baby. I hate this. To find the article. Sunday, May 23, 2010. I'm really TRYING to remain positive and calm, but I'm really stressed too. As you know, we trialed Dairy for the first time in the hospital on Tuesday (the 18th). DS only had 50 ml of whole milk that day. We stuck around for 6 h...So, a...
FPIES Baby: March 2010
http://fpiesbaby.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
One family's journey of diagnosing and living with Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome. Tuesday, March 16, 2010. I feel like I'm at a standstill. I don't know where to go from here. Kyle seems to be doing good on corn, wheat, and eggs, but we need to trial something else this week. I need to see a nutritionist, I need to get him to learn how to use a sippy cup, and I probably need to move him to a toddler formula. *sigh*. I just don't know where to go next? I don't know what food to try next?
FPIES Baby: Food Allergy Rant....
http://fpiesbaby.blogspot.com/2013/01/food-allergy-rant.html
One family's journey of diagnosing and living with Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome. Tuesday, January 8, 2013. As previously posted on my other blog. Sometimes I wonder (feel sorry for myself) why I had to have kids with so many food allergy issues. But, then I get a reality check. It really could be a LOT worse. I know that there are lots of families suffering with kids a whole lot sicker than mine. And, for the most part, I'm blessed with 3 healthy children. OK, off my soap box for now.

Oat & Rice Trial Update | Frantically Unraveling FPIES
https://fufpies.wordpress.com/2015/02/27/oat-rice-trial-update
A mom's mission to understand and overcome her son's rare food allergy. Philadelphia FPIES Support Group. Oat and Rice Trial Update. February 27, 2015. The last couple of months have been full of ups and downs! I knew that squeezing in so many food challenges/trials over the holiday season was going to make things a little extra-stressful. What I didn’t count on was the confusion and uncertainty that would result. First we had the weird symptoms during the dairy trial. I discussed my concerns with Jonath...

A mom's mission to understand and overcome her son's rare food allergy. Philadelphia FPIES Support Group. No News is Good News! October 14, 2016. Well, it has certainly been a while since my last blog post. Today is Global FPIES Day so I figured it was a perfect time to share an update. A lot has happened in our lives over the past 20 months or so, I’ll do my best to just give the abridged version. The bottom line is that E is doing wonderfully! He has officially passed trials of rice, dairy and egg!
Rocking the Rice Trial! | Frantically Unraveling FPIES

A mom's mission to understand and overcome her son's rare food allergy. Philadelphia FPIES Support Group. Rocking the Rice Trial! December 10, 2014. E’s rice challenge on Monday was great! He inhaled his first dose of rice flour (1/4 tsp mixed in applesauce) and could barely wait the 20 minutes until his next dose (1/2 teaspoon mixed in applesauce). The rest of the day was gloriously boring. There was no sign of any problem or discomfort and we were out of there by 1:00! We are so lucky. Amazing success ...
Lola's FPIES: Lola's Allergist Apt
http://fpies-lola.blogspot.com/2010/05/lolas-allergist-apt.html
My daughters FPIES journey. Saturday, May 1, 2010. We went to the Allergist last Thursday and it went very well. Lola is finally catching up as far as weight goes. Height is another story. She is extremely petite. She is about to be 2 years old and she wears size 6-9 month shoes. But that's okay because she is thriving very well! We went ahead and did some SPTs. She was tested for Orange, Strawberry, Cantaloupe, Tomato, Watermelon, Rice and Chocolate. She passed all of them! May 1, 2010 at 3:19 PM. Also,...

A mom's mission to understand and overcome her son's rare food allergy. Philadelphia FPIES Support Group. Dairy is a PASS! December 7, 2014. I feel like I spent the last week just waiting for a reaction – scrutinizing every diaper, questioning every funny face, and generally being on edge. I’m exhausted! But there hasn’t been any projectile vomit! No vomit at all. None. I still can’t really believe it. Here’s the dairy trial recap…. You can read the whole long story.
