Mom was stuck at work, but fortunately had a lot of free time at work between waiting for calls. When Mom came home, Dad said it is indeed my time to go. Thursday, September 4, 2008. Texas went to the bridge last night. It was incredibly sad, but peaceful. We put him on his harness instead of in the carrier, and he actually enjoyed looking out the window on the way to the vet. He hadn't eaten all day though, nor could he really walk, so we knew it was time. I'll start posting there once I heal. And with such a great cat gone from my life, healing might take quite a while. Thanks everyone, for all you have done. We love you. You all may remember Petey.
