My experience with Topical Steroid Withdrawal. Diams; July 17, 2013. Diams; Leave a comment. Please excuse my hair, I’d just been in an oily bath and hadn’t had chance to wash my hair yet! My eczema (in the traditional dry rash sense) primarily affects my face, giving me the typical butterfly pattern. The rest of me is strange. I’m covered in incredibly itchy bumps (not spots) on my torso, arms and upper legs. I’ll cover this is in another post, though. Newer Posts →. Blog at WordPress.com.

On the plus side, I managed to get a jar of this for a decent price at the herbalist. Just like a Bounty (without the chocolate of course), but it’s a bit sickly and overpowering when I’m covered in it. These were the last photos I took before stopping the steroids. These photos were taken on the 11th of September 2013 and are the first photos I have after stopping the steroids (3 weeks in). During the first month I stuck to using my prescribed Diprobase ointment as a moisturiser, along with my faithful Dermasilk.
