Monday, June 11, 2012. It's amazing how changing one's appearance can liberate one's soul. It's been about two weeks since I cut 14 inches of hair off my head and I feel amazing. It also helps that I was able to fit into a skirt I haven't fit into in over a year and a half yesterday. I think a body goes along comfortable in a set routine and forgets what it is to take pride in one 's appearance. Enough with complacency, as Marina said to me on Saturday, "You need some refreshing! Friday, October 11, 2013. Later we went to visit Loren's Aunt and cousins. They live up a canyon about 45 minutes outside of Anaheim. We had quite the adventure trying to get to their house. I told Loren parts of it felt like a cross between Park City and rural France. It only lacked the stones walls topped with broken glass to keep the vagrants/vandals out. Links to this post. Thursday, January 30, 2014. So as I predicted yesterday we took a breather today. We spent the first half of the day at the hotel relaxing and spending time together. It has been really nice eating on the balcony and watching the ocean and the boats. The weather has been comfortable. It has been quiet as there aren't many that walk around on the terrace outside our balcony. Awesome, and my mother always gives demerol all the credit. So of course we had to buy it. Saturday, August 25, 2012. Today was Rio Tinto's annual family night. This year they chose This Is The Place Heritage Park as their venue. There was everything from demonstrations, to Native American dancing, to re-enactments of daily life, to activities, entertainment and food. It was a blast!
