What's really scary is they are doing a scan to see if the infection has made its way into his brain. Please keep praying for the doctors wisdom and skill, peace and pain relief for PopPop and strength, peace and hope for all of the family. The Lord's will be done. My PopPop is in the hospital again and the nurses are worried that he wont pull out of it this time. A few weeks ago he went into surgery to remove his foot due to a serious infection. 31 Days {BE STILL}. Friday, November 23, 2012. I had such a wonderful Thanksgiving! I was able to go home to my parents house for three days! I spent time Christmas shopping with my sisters, cooking with mommy, and chatting and watching Better off Dead. With my daddy. (that is a hilarious 80's movie bytheway! I am thankful for so many things- my family, the great food, a warm bed, my husband getting a little time off work, and Poppop. Everyone signs the table cloth every year they come to Thanksgiving.
