France Coast to Coast. Friday, 17 June 2016. DAY 62 - REILLANNE TO APT. We had fine weather and lovely scenery for today's long walk through Provence. A lovely old path to start this morning's walk. After an hour and a half of easy walking, we came to the ruins of the medieval priory of Carluc. We spent some time wandering around the site. Storyboard at Carluc Priory - another attempt at shadow photography. Another few kilometres brought us to a Roman bridge on the way into Céreste. Coffee stop, Céreste.

France Coast to Coast. Thursday, 23 June 2016. DAY 67 - FONTVIEILLE TO ARLES. We headed out this morning through plantations of melon, apple and olive. Heading out among the olive trees. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. Not a cloud in the sky. After about 5 kilometres we came to the village of Fontvieille. We walked through the attractive old part of the village. Fontvieille is mostly known for its connection with Alphonse Daudet, the author of Letters From My Windmill. The Roman amphitheatre at Arles.

There was a choice of 6 cakes at breakfast this morning. Our usually-reliable taster only attempted 2 of them. We had decided to start our walk with a level stroll on a path by the lake. We started the day's walk with a stroll along Lake Serre-Ponçon. Kath's new shoes, modelled with Lake Serre-Ponçon, Embrun, and Alpine mountains as backdrop.
