Sunday, September 18, 2011. July 7, 1540. It's been about 5 months since we left. I have lost so many men do to attacks and lack of water and food. We must keep going though. It is now July and the summer days are growing long and hot. Ow! I have just been told about the city of Quivira. The most lavish of the seven cities supposedly. I must find this city immediately. Saturday, September 17, 2011. February 23, 1540. It's been a couple weeks. since we've left and conditions are growing harsh. I've lost more men from lack of water; from what I know, they're is no close water supply so we have to be cautious. I think we are moving at a fairly quick rate.
