Just The Two of Us: April 2013
http://debandaj.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Just The Two of Us. Friday, April 12, 2013. I love pinterest and after I've pinned things I've actually made some. I'm not one to come up with my own ideas but I'm sure glad I can copy what other people post. In the apothecary jar are little pink hear shaped marshmellows. You can put a drinking glass upside down in your jar and then fill around it so it takes up space. I made these using pretzel bags, skittles and rolos for my treasure hunt on St. Patricks day. My first time using a saw. Ready, Set, Go.

Just The Two of Us. Wednesday, August 13, 2014. It is so fun to have summer bithdays because you can have swimming parties. Carter and his friends came and swam and had such a fun time. Carter is showing off his braces he had put on the day before. They are such a good group of boys. They love swimming. Blowing out his candles. We had Tara's parents come and also Greg Winder and his two little girls come spend the evening with us. This is the Place Heritage Park. Started out with the pony rides. We came ...

Just The Two of Us: May 2013
http://debandaj.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Just The Two of Us. Tuesday, May 28, 2013. We had a lovely mother's day celebration. We got to enjoy being outdoors and eating outside. AJ wrote a poem for me. Here it is:. A few words of my own. A mother's day note. To express how I feel. It's been a few years. Since we walked down the isle. And some things have changed. Each day with a smile. They go by so fast. They carry us on. But what is behind. Is the treasure we won. May the mother you were. Or the grandma you are. Like the star that you are.

Just The Two of Us: December 2014
http://debandaj.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Just The Two of Us. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Megan invited everyone over for the kids to decorate a Christmas tree cone and make a graham cracker house. The kids love doing that. We had to leave early and couldn't stay very long. Myla had her dance recital and she did such a fantastic job. She danced her little heart out. She didn't miss a beat. We headed out early to go visit all the families to see what Santa brought them. Our first stop of Cory and Tara's. They are enjoying their breakfast.

Sunday, July 6, 2014. On top of the world and so close to Heaven. Okay So the 100 happy days didn't make it very far. Not for a lack of happiness. But just for a lack of photos and remembering to snap shots in the moment. But that is just fine. I don't need photos to prove to world that I am happy. There are other fruits of happiness. Peace. Health. Energy. Love. Or maybe happiness is a fruit of these things. Today I was listening to Music and the Spoken Word. Posted by sarah h. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, January 19, 2015. I was planning on sending 2014 out with a bang. Instead it went out with a snap. I had some great goals and things that I wanted to accomplish and change in my life before the ball dropped and 2014 made its grand exit into 2015. But all that came to screeching halt when I took one step and SNAP. That snap happened in my right foot. Ouch! Final prognosis. Lisfranc. AKA broken arch. What the? Posted by sarah h. Sunday, March 31, 2013. Day 2: Unaware of my quest Dad gave me a big box of chocolate candy for Valentine's Day It went into hiding until after Lent. Day 5: Dad made a huge batch of chocolate chip cookies. My #1 weakness. And there they were sitting on the counter. Fresh and warm. Let's just say this batch lasted longer then they normally do. Day 8: Commercials for Easter candy began to air. Has it really only been a week? Day 33: Peanut butter cookies. Mmmmm! Day 43: Ended Lent with lots of Easter candy...
