Monday, July 27, 2009. Today's summer activity was making homemade applesauce. When we were visiting Lorin's Aunt Linda in Vermont, she had some homemade applesauce. The kids loved it! I think Lindsay loved it at first site because it was pink (made from red apples)! So I ran accross a recipe to make it from your crock-pot, we are in business! It was quite easy! Here's a picture of the after. I thought it was quite delicious and to know all the ingredients were natural makes it even sweeter!

Saturday, November 7, 2009. We've had lots of Fall fun! Lorin picked us out a GREAT BIG pumpkin. He and the kids had lots of fun carving it. Lindsay had a field trip to the zoo and Gavin's was to the horse farm. It was Gavin's 1st field trip. He painted a pumpkin and fed the horses.
