Matsumoto Castle, A National Treasure. Mar 8th, 2011 at 11:25 PM. Matsumoto Castle also known as Crow Castle because of its elegant black roof is found in Matsumoto City in Nagano Prefecture. This five-roofed, six-story tower was built in 1593-94 and is Japan's oldest existing castle. The castle's history dates back 400 years ago but remains largely in its original state today. The second floor houses the armory of Matsumoto Castle which displays a collection of firearms in the earlier period and armors.

Misc Art and Sculptures. A Little About Me. So when I begin to create my art work I often use recycled and vintage materials. The portraits are made from wool skirts that have been purchased at yard sales and Goodwill. I wash them in hot water and dry them to shrink the wool fibers. I often dye wool roving with kool-aid or purchased dye to use as hair for the portraits.
