Which, apart from a beautifully battered and mismatched sofa lurking shadily on one side of the room, more closely resembles an empty dance studio. Misc Art and Sculptures. A Little About Me. So when I begin to create my art work I often use recycled and vintage materials. The portraits are made from wool skirts that have been purchased at yard sales and Goodwill. I wash them in hot water and dry them to shrink the wool fibers. I often dye wool roving with kool-aid or purchased dye to use as hair for the portraits.
