Hätte Maximilian Marthaler schon von weitem erkannt, was da auf dem Sushiband auf ihn zuglitt: er wäre wohl aufgesprungen und hätte ohne zu zahlen das Lokal verlassen. Seit Tagen hielt er sich lieber in Innenräumen auf, weil er sich dort sicherer fühlte. Er ging auch kaum mehr mit Hannibal aus dem Haus und stieg, ganz gegen seine früheren Gewohnheiten, erst in der Garage aus dem Auto, nachdem sich das Tor geschlossen hatte.
