The Aberdeen Early Music Collective’s second concert of the “Ruggieri” Project took place on Thursday, 5 February 2015, with guests Karim Nasr (baroque bassoon) and Alex McCartney (baroque guitar and theorbo). Other performers were Amanda Babington, Aden Mazur, Caroline Ritchie, Claire Babington, and Ralph Stelzenmüller. We’ve now performed all of the soprano cantatas, and two of the sonatas! Taci, non mi parlar. Don’t speak to me!

Ich bin auf and davon. Davor und danach und mittendrin. Es sind schon eine handvoll Wochen vergangen, seitdem ich in Korea bin, und trotzdem ist die Zeit vorbeigerast ohne Ende. Das einzige, woran ich merke, dass die Zeit voranschreitet ist die Frage: “Wie, du bist schon nen Monat hier und kannst noch kein Koreanisch? Ne, leider nicht…. Und werden zu Worten zusammengesetzt, das dann so aussieht: 안녕하세요 (annyeonghaseyo) – Hallo/guten Tag. Es ist also quasi wie ein ABC, also ziemlich schnell erlernbar.
