Has CES lost its edge? On 16 Jan, 2013. A short history of CES. Not the only show in town. Back when I visited CES in 2010 Casio used a group of scantily clad ladies performing a martial arts demo in a sandpit (with lots of high kicks) to demonstrate the high-speed capabilities of its new range of cameras . The reality was they were trying to cover for their not particularly impressive product range, and it was clear for all to see. My experience of CES. So what is going wrong? Is CES still relevant?
