The Good, The Bad, ok mostly bad. Saturday, May 3, 2014. Dad was a bit more careful who he regaled from that moment on. He had a stroke back in September of last year. It took a lot out of him. He'd had a few mini strokes before that but fully recovered. This time his speech was a permanent reminder that he was no longer a threat to Hitlers evil empire. His time is near. The Good, The Bad, ok mostly bad. Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Well, ol dad has not been able to see very well for the past few years and he decided he wanted to have Cataract surgery. Actually it was not so much his decision as it was the Veterans Administration. He went in to get new glasses and they said he couldn't have new ones until he had the surgery. Every day closer to the surgery I heard the same thing. I sure wish this surgery was over with". Ever had to put drops into a childs ears or eyes?

The Good, The Bad, ok mostly bad. Thursday, May 8, 2014. Hospital Hospital oh how I love thee! This time wasnt nearly as comical even though I SWEAR Miss Swan from Mad TV was a couple of beds over. I expected her to blurt out a "HE LOOKA LIKEA MAN! But alas she never did. The poor woman did however sound just like the TV Character. I try to see the humor in everything.
