Monday, January 6, 2014. Lucas' First Thanksgiving and Christmas 2013. Lucas' First Thanksgiving with the Bakers. This year we gathered together at Harley's home. Jason was very happy to introduce his boy to GG. Nana is totally in love. What a sweet new family. We always enjoy being with family at Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We usually try to get a game of croquet in at our house in the summer. We need to keep this up, even when granny is gone. She would want that. December 9, 2013.

Sunday, August 16, 2015. Food Run Summer 2015. Clyde wanted to take a quick summer trip so he started thinking of places I may like to go. We thought of Gatlinburg.too much traffic. Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Most things improve with age, so they say. I normally only post things that are good, that I want others to enjoy (or keep in business! The room is nice, the lodge restaurant is reasonable enough (I had a nice burger and fries for $6.49) and the pool is excellent.but cold. Come! If you are military or in education, make sure you mention that. It is a reduced rate. You know me and food! Not a lot to do here at night. So, we need to walk and go out to walk the golf course!

Thursday, April 10, 2014. This is a much quieter week than last. We have played games with our friends, Clyde and I have gone to the pool a few times, and he and I have walked the beach some.not much. The walking isn't as easy as it is at New Smyrna. Thursday, July 30, 2015. It was six months on July 25th that Kent passed away. He was buried on the 28th. Mom moved into Liberty Ridge shortly after that. This is mom's table of friends. They eat all meals at the same table. The above pics were from the 4th of July celebration there. They had a performer. This gentleman is a true "gentleman". Such manners. I enjoy him a lot! This little doggie is Tucker. Such a great doggie! Brings the residents SO much joy. I am so excited to leave but concerned. I ...

Friday, June 26, 2015. RJ Corman Dinner Train. Clyde and I got a surprise last weekend and rode the RJ Corman Dinner Train with Tricia and David. They were celebrating their 38th wedding anniversary. We had, briefly, looked into it last Valentine's Day but it was booked and not something our group wanted to do at that time. Sunday, February 15, 2015. Here are a few of the "before" and "after" pictures, although we are just getting started. More changes to come! This is before he raised the shutters out 4 ft. He removed this table/desk and painted the paneling white. We threw away this sofa/loveseat (offered to give it away first). We don't have an "after" yet of the deck. Plan to replace it with pavers. Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Sunday School Social at Cedar Ridge Farm. Our ABF (formerly Sunday School) class enjoyed another fun social. This one was at Cedar Ridge Farm, in Sadieville. The Giles planned a fun evening, where we were able to act like kids again. With a hayride, target practice (well, that's NOT for kids), a bonfire with smore's, 4 wheeling, and good food!
