January 8, 2010 at 11:59 pm. I just couldn’t bear it any longer. I am too old to be adaptable. WordPress and I just never hit it off. Squarespace is what I know and like, so I packed up the wagon and hustled the Freeattle. Site over to Fresh-Picked Seattle. Check out the new digs. They have the added benefit of not requiring you to go to a different site to see the calendar. Heck, you don’t even have to go to a different page. If you have a link to http:/ www.Freeattle.com. Fall Color is Free. October 28, 2009 at 9:44 am. One of the great free things to do here is enjoy any of the many many awesome Seattle-area parks and gardens. We probably don’t have very much time left with the gorgeous fall colors – and it really seems like they are exceptionally brilliant this year – so get to one soon if you can! Including how the colors are related to vegetables like carrots and red cabbage. Freeattle...

Freeattle Events Calendar, Now with Categories. October 25, 2009 at 7:06 am. I still haven’t worked out the embedding of the Freeattle Events Calendar. On, you know, the actual Freeattle site. I am planning on moving off WordPress entirely in a few months. However, in the interim, I’ve made one improvement to the Calendar: events are now color-coded according to category. This, I hope, will make it a little easier if you are looking for a particular kind of event. Here are the categories:. Halloween and ...
