Free Clinics of the Western Region. Thursday, August 25, 2011. Strategic Planning Meeting in San Diego. On Saturday August 20th Board members of the Free Clinics of the Western Region gathered in San Diego to discuss plans for the next three years. At the conclusion of our meeting, we were visited by the Perpetual Health Cycling Club. They have toured Free Clinics around California on their bicycles bring attention to the good work being done. Great to see these young people interested in Free Clinics.

Members of the Board of Directors of the Free Clinics of the Western Region held a strategic planning meeting in San Diego August 16th and 17th. The meeting was held to discuss current issues and determine ways for the association to be more effective. History of the Free Clinics of the Western Region. In June of 1997, several Free Clinic representatives from Northern California participated on a panel entitled. Free Clinic Models and Perspectives. Out of that meeting and with encouragement from Estelle Nichols Avner, President of the Free Clinic Foundation of America, it was decided that a conference of Free Clinics should be organized.
