First Christian Church of Freedom. The Church in the Village. Of the four church organizations established in Freedom New Hampshire, this is the only one that has survived to the 21st. century. The church was founded in 1858 by local residents. They met in member homes until after the Civil War. In 1867 a congregation of 75 members had the present church building constructed. The two Fellowship Halls were added in 1978 and 1987. Sun 9 am: Choir Rehearsal. Sun 10 am: Church Service. Fri 10 am: Book Study.

I was preceded by 2 excellent pastors who served about 10 years each Pastors Cedar and Bossdorf, respectively and they were preceded by Pastor George Davidson, who was here for 36 years. So, there you have the history of pastorates over the last half century. However, that tells only a part of the story. Come and join us.

Communion is provided all year on selected Sundays and church holidays during the church service. It is available to all who desire to participate. Pre-registration is not required.
