As you might guess, much has happened at Anam Cara. Shortly after they arrived in May. The pig condo, complete with door. The hay was fun to play in (& munch on! And they could lay down outside again. At one point we observed Louise (spotted one) carrying mouthfuls of hay into their house. Early November at their favorite place! Bob Marley, the proud.

I visited Anam Cara and my dear friends there in September…dearer to me now as I know them as friends who are truly living their dream. I knew the Michigan side of their journey, followed their progress online, and felt called to pay a visit. How good it is to make the effort to visit and keep in touch with such friends. Cheryl and I took a bright sunny day to explore and headed north to Rockland.

Not the kind of weather a person wishes for when building a house. We finished about 2/3's of the metal roof installation when the hot weather hit.
