History of Camp Freedom. During the pilot program we developed an adaptive sailing program for high functioning autistic youth that has been recognized by US Sailing. The program we developed not only teaches high functioning autistic youth how to sail, but also provides social skills development. Every April we hold an Autism Awareness silent auction to help bring awareness to the community but also provide our summer camp program and provide scholarship to some of our youth sailors.

Classes Offered for Summer Programs. Summer Camp for 2016. This year camp will be held at. 2525 Philippee PKWY, Safety Harbor 34695. Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. This year we will be holding 2 week camps each 2 week session will be $350.00. ( Scholarships are available ). First 2 week: June 20th - July 1st. Second 2 weeks: July 5th - July 15th. Third 2 weeks: July 18th - July 29th. Please go on the following website to register for classes. During school time we go to sailing Saturday Classes:.

Sailing instruction for youth 8-18 years. US level 1 Sailing Certified Instructor. Our youth will be exposed to community involvement. Support group for families. Family outings and cookouts for the group. Special Olympic or Regatta training for individuals who would like to race in them. FSC will provide scholarships for families. Please get with director for an application for scholarship.
