Wednesday, August 17, 2011. My kids and I had fun making these today. They are light, slightly crispy, soft and cakey, super flavorful and really lemony! They taste just like Summer:) If you don't have Meyer lemons, regular lemons will work just fine. Also, if you don't have sparkling sugar to sprinkle on them, regular granulated sugar will work. However, you want to let the cookies cool before sprinkling. Hope you enjoy these as much as we did! Makes about 70 small cookies. 3/4 cup strained lemon juice.

And I cherish our times together. I packed up the kids on Friday night and we had a sleepover at her house and spent all of Saturday cooking our little hearts out. Here's one of the many things we made. Uh-ma-zing! 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour. 2 sticks cold butter. 1/4 cup toasted almonds. 2 tablespoons heavy cream. Preheat oven to 350.

Sunday, February 28, 2010. There are so many ways you can top this bread, and so many ways to eat it. I love to dip it in olive oil and balsamic vinegar, make sandwiches out of it, or just eat it plain. I divided this recipe and made one loaf with sun dried tomatoes and Kalamata olives, and the other with just a sprinkling of kosher salt and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. So good. This is a two day process, but it is fairly easy. From Fine Cooking Magazine:. 1 lb 9 oz unbleached bread flour (5 1/2 cups).

I was done on Wednesday but I had to wait to get weighed and measured on Thursday so technically I couldn’t eat other foods until Thursday late morning. In the grand scheme of things, it wasn’t hard to do. One month goes by faster than you think. I’m super glad I did it because not only did I lose weight but it made me feel calmer and nicer.
