News, Gossip and Lies. Take what you like… Leave the rest. Laquo; Who knew my life was so cliche`. A new twist on an old phrase…. The words: I don’t care. On the surface they don’t sound too good… we are taught that it’s not a good thing to ‘not care’. I’m actually finding that it is a fantastic thing to really be able to say “I don’t care”. The catch of course is that you have to mean it. You have to “feel” it. 8220;I don’t care” gives up control and allows things to simply exist. Personally, I think th...

There's Room For Everyone…. From The Book of Secrets by Deepak Chopra. Referring to universal principles and examples of how they could be applied. My personal intent is to focus on one for a few days, and then practice the next for a few days and then the next, giving each my attention individually until they feel more natural. 1 The events in my life reflect who I am:. 2 The people in my life reflect aspects of myself:. 3 What ever I pay attention to will grow:. I will concentrate today on the gifts in...

There's Room For Everyone…. Usually when I set out to do something, I set out with a goal or purpose in mind. I’ve had a few personal blogs that inevitably become personal diaries where I can share my most intimate thoughts with strangers everywhere. That usually evolves into a mental dumping ground that I soon abandon because reading it becomes such a bummer. Now here I am again. A new day. A new blog. But this time with a new idea! There's Room For Everyone…. Kids These Days…. I hold great hope for our future when I look at our future leaders. I think I’m probably in the minority. I told my kids similar stories about wearing bread bags in my boots to keep my feet dry in the winter, of having to change the television channel “by hand” and a world without cell phones. Now I hear my kids talking about how rough the 90’s were. (LMAO). My concerns were Safety and Psychological Needs. March 29, 2010. Small Things To Ponder.

There's Room For Everyone…. My favorite “brain” example is: I see a rose, it’s red and smells nice. I look closer and see the texture on the petals. If I touch the petals, I feel a cool velvety sensation on my fingertip. This is happening because I am looking at a rose and just touched a petal. I can take it to a closer view. I am made of DNA and so is plant matter… now my DNA is looking at more DNA. No, I don’t need medication… I need sleep 😉. April 18, 2010. Small Things To Ponder. The Book of Secrets.

There's Room For Everyone…. I’ve been doing a lot of work with anger lately. Not that I’m angry over anything in particular, but since I’ve started meditating, I’ve realized that things I thought I’d worked through were simply looked at and then wrapped, boxed and stored. When I did these things, I wasn’t getting rid of anger, I was rehearsing it. Today’s thought: I am going to stop rehearsing feelings. Rather I am going to experience them as they come.
