This Wall is Not Infallible. Talking About Prisons, from Prison. Today I received truly horrible treatment by the max-unit staff. But this post is not to share what happened. The women I am imprisoned with think the treatment is because of this blog. It could be, it could not be. Either way I wrote this in a cell today, this poem to the guards. I just wanted to say hello. You see me everyday. But you never say hello. You’ve yelled at me before. You’ve touched my body before. I bet we have a lot in common.
