Friday, October 17, 2014. We now have everything in place that we need to "shoot hoops" with coding apps and creating content at The Rack Cafe at our Friday evening workshops from 5 to 7 pm. In one corner we will be set up to work through the various online coding tutorial programs starting with w3schools.com. Yesterday, newly minted PhD, Barnet Schmidt gave the following presentation to a small group gathered in the Springfield Avenue Business District of Maplewood, NJ. Free Space Optics is Barnet's area of expertise, having successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on the subject last month- November 19th- in the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics, Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ.
